Williams, who is employed by the Labor Brewing company in Uniontown, and Miss Grace Uhl were married at noon Wednesday, April 11, 1906, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Uhl, in Somerset township, Somerset county, by Rev. Robert Patterson of the Lutheran church. It was a quiet home wedding and the only one outside the two families who was present was Sheriff William Begley of Somerset county. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben W. Williams, formerly of Revere in South Union township, and a reception for the young couple was given Wednesday night at the home of Ben W. Williams in New Haven, about 50 or 60 guests being present, including Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Burd and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Burd of Uniontown. The bride and groom came to Uniontown Thursday and have started housekeeping in a house on Middle street which Mr. Williams recently purchased and which he had nicely furnished before the wedding.

Mr. Brownfield is the youngest son of Hon. John Brownfield, a genial good fellow. Miss Williams is the only child of D. Williams, deceased. An accomplished and very agreeable lady, and we can assure John, will make him a pleasant companion. The pair left this place on the noon train for Baltimore and Washington City, to visit friends and see the sights. The Genius boys tender thanks, for the lots of good things sent to the office, and hope the honeymoon may be perpetual.
