To the happy bride, our gratitude is due for the sweet remembrance vouchsafed to us during the first five hours of matrimonial felicity. May she in her Prairie home enjoy a life, long and serene, a love unending and a joy unalloyed; and may their wedded career be one contained round of pleasure and prosperity.

CLENDENING, of Candor, and Miss MARY A., daughter of Mr. David Duncan, of the vicinity of Florence, all of Washington county, Pa. -- Owing to the high regard we have for these parties, we must be permitted to go beyond the usual stereotyped mod of well- wishing. We believe our friend the Doctor, every way worthy of the treasure he has obtained. Had he travelled the length and breadth of the Union of States – we are satisfied he could not have found a more desirable companion to join him in the union matrimonial. Miss “Mollie” was a model girl, having a heart well nigh as large as herself, which always throbbed with noble impulses. May the happiness of each, be like the sailor’s rope – without an end. What has brother Searight of the Uniontown Genius to say? Wash Examiner. -- “Mollie” was one of the best “gals” in America, and we join most heartily with brother Hopkins in his gratulations to the happy pair; but we have to say, “There are as good fish in the Sea as ever were caught.”
