CAREY - William G. Carey, 73, resident of Star, died Monday morning in a Boise hospital after a long illness. He was born October 8, 1865, in Philadelphia, Pa. He had lived in the vicinity of Boise for the past 25 years, coming here from Constantine, Mich. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Loretta Carey, by two sons, Merrill Carey, South Bend, Ind., and Lester Carey, Star, and by two brothers in Philadelphia, Pa. Mr. Carey was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock at the McBratney funeral home with the Rev. W.J. Agee officiating. Interment will be in Morris Hill Cemetery.

Edwin T. Chase, the well-known lawyer of this city, died on Saturday morning last, at his residence, No. 103 South Thirty-fourth street, of neuralgia of the stomach, in the sixty-fourth year of his age. He was born in Newburyport, Mass., and came to this city with his father in 1830. He studied law with J. Altamont Phillips, and was admitted to the bar in 1849. Mr. Chase was Deputy Prothonotary and Commissioner of Bail from 1843 to 1854, and Chief Real Estate Deputy under Sheriff Kern. He was a candidate for Prothonotary on the Republican ticket in 1856, receiving between 7000 and 8000 votes. He was appointed Assessor of Internal Revenue for the Fifth District of Pennsylvania in 1862 by President Lincoln, and served until Andrew Johnson's administration. In 1867 Judge Cadwalader appointed Mr. Chase Register in Bankruptcy, which position he held at the time of his death. Mr. Chase was a prominent Mason, and served actively with Company F. First Regiment, from June to August, 1863, and took part in several skirmishes.

CUCINOTTA, Natale, 84, of West Grove died Thursday, April 2, 1992, in Southern Chester County Medical Center, Jennersville, of an apparent heart attack. He was the husband of Rose Brucolieri Cucinotta. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Joseph and Marie DeFlavio Cucinotta. He was a stone mason and bricklayer and worked for Ernest DiSabatino & Sons in Wilmington, Del., for many years. He also worked for many other construction companies and retired in 1969.
  He had resided in West Grove for the past 52 years. He was a member of the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Church in West Grove. He was also a member of the Sons of Italy for over 50 years and a member of the Local 1 Bricklayers Union of Wilmington for more than 30 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Joseph A. Cucinotta Sr. of Colorado and Thomas A. Cucinotta of Michigan; a brother Harry Cucinotta of Somers Point, N.J. ; three sisters, Rose Ciazzo of Moorestown, N.J., Josephine Iatrola and Catherine Iatrola both of Philadelphia; a grandson; and a great-grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday. April 6, 1992, in the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Church, West Grove. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, N.J.  Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, 1992, and on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Reilly DellaVecchia Funeral Home Inc., Cypress and Marshall Streets, Kennett Square.
