The British Emigrant Society, established in Sus- quehanna county, have read with much attention the following Letters, from one of their members. They have carefully examined the statements contained
in them, and fully concur in opinion as to their correctness. The object of the Society has been to secure an eligible situation for their countrymen; and by obtaining a large tract of laud, to enable them to settle together, and, at the same time, to procure the land at a low price.

Letters applying for land.
