The monument just inside the entrance, shown in the first view, is engraved "Col. Hulingís Post No. 176 GAR" and contains the names and service assignments of twenty-eight Civil War veterans. The graves are arranged in a circle around this monument. The monument and a number of the bodies were moved in 1916 from the Old Presbyterian Cemetery at Logan and Spruce Streets, Lewistown.
