Mary Lee Young, 99, of 713 W. North St., New Castle, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Mon., Aug 24, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Born on Nov. 23, 1909 in Madry AL, she was the daughter of Oliver W. and Clara McKinney Blue. Mary was married to the late Grady Young. Mary loved the Lord and participated in activities in many local churches. She was a member of Bibleway Church of God in Christ in Youngstown, OH. Mary had a large collection of dolls over 75 sets of salt and pepper shakers. Mary will be sadly missed by 3 sons and daughters-in-law: Oliver and Euriki Blue of Jacksonville, FL, Ross and Evelyn Blue, Alto and Delores Young, all of New Castle, 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Young and brother, Carlton Blue. Visitation will be from 10 to 11AM on Mon., Aug 31, 2009 at Charlotte A. Sheffield Funeral Home, 454 Chestnut St. where the service will be held at 11AM. Interment will be in Castleview Cemetery.
