The western section of this cemetery was the St. Ciril Methody Slavish National Catholic Church cemetery for a Slovak Catholic church located in the 1920's and 1930's at West Church Avenue and Locust Street. No buildings remain. This cemetery section later became a part of the St. Mary's Nativity [Eastern] Orthodox Church Cemetery. The St. Mary's Orthodox Church is located at 309 South Washington Street, Masontown.
