This is the oldest of three cemeteries bearing the name Laurel Hill. It has also been referred to as the Paull Cemetery and the Work Farm Cemetery as the Work family owned the land on which the cemetery originated. About a hundred and fifty yards from this location was the first Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church, the foundation of which remains today. (This is somewhere along Race Path Road.)
