Directions: Mount Vernon Cemetery is a small abandoned cemetery. From the Newell Crossroads travel on Brownsville Road take the first road on the left, Elliot Road. Eventually this road becomes Mount Vernon Road. On the left you will find a set of steps leading to this small cemetery. I copied the stones to the best of my ability to read them.
