MOORE-HESS CEMETERY
REDSTONE TOWNSHIP

Take New Salem Road to New Salem. Go 1 mile past stop sign in New Salem and turn left onto Seatontown Road. Continue 4/10 mile to old red brick farm house on right. Cemetery is behind house in patch of woods in field (about 1/2 mile walk.

Note: Cemetery was reportedly started by Hess Family when one of their children was killed by Indians in late 1700s. Groundhogs have dug under many stones causing them to fall over and sometimes buried. Several stones face down. Could not turn them over.
