Honsaker Johnson Cemetery-Nicholson Township
Compiled by Jane McCann Walsh

According to accounts written in the Robert McClelland book, "Masontown and Its Environ," p 13: "A very old family burial ground can still be visited (1962) on the Diamond farm near Woodside. The earliest markers were hewn from sandstone, and most of the inscriptions are either obliterated or undecipherable. Here, on a plot about fifty feet in either dimension, are buried members of at least five families: Johnson, Honsaker, Reed, Bare, and Knott. Many of the later burials were made in the 1860's or the early 1870's, the last in 1888 or 1889."

Individuals for whom identifiable markers have been found are noted with an asterisk (*) after their year of death.
