Hillview Cemetery-Springfield Township

This Cemetery is rather large, but off the beaten path on a dirt road.  I would think that some that are buried here came from poor families as some markers are just slabs of cement with lettering painted on.  Some markers are recent and fancy.

To get there go to Normalville, PA.  Go toward Ohiopyle.  Just as you leave Normalville you will turn left on RT 653.  Go down hill, cross the bridge and turn left.  Go until you come to a “Y” and you will bear right.  Shortly you will cross a small bridge.  As soon as you cross the bridge turn right onto Brown Rd.  The road splits as soon as you get on it, take the road to the left.  Go until you see a white mobile home on right, turn left on Hillview Rd.  When you get to top of hill you will see the cemetery on right.
