Harmony Presbyterian Church Cemetery - Perry Twp.
Contributed by Dee Turek Bryner
From the History of Fayette Co., Pa. by Ellis we see that there was a
SNYDER Farm on which was built the Old Log Church belonging to the
Cumberland Presbyterians, and known by the name "Harmony." The
present church stands near the same spot.
The census of the cemetery was taken in 1962 by Walter HOFFMAN and 1970
by Irene P. LIGNIAN. These records have been combined using the 1970 as
the basis - any discrepancies will be bracketed.
Directions: From the Westmoreland County/Fayette County line
on Rt 51 north of Perryopolis, go south on Rt 51 0.3 miles and turn right on
Harmony Church Road. The cemetery is immediately on the left below the road.
