Kendall Family Cemetery, German Township

The small ( .15 acre) Kendall Cemetery in Leckrone, German Township, PA, was on a farm at present day Demniak Road, which borders another farm on Springer Road.  The cemetery was located at a borderline between these two farm properties. Unfortunately, there is no evidence of a burial ground there now, or for many years.  It is believed that as many Kendall Family remains as possible were removed long ago to the Church Hill Presbyterian Cemetery, McClellandtown, German Township.  The church cemetery is not far from the original Kendall Cemetery grounds.  It also is believed that the Kendall Cemetery included family veterans, and their wives, of the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, and the Civil War years.-Pat Lubits Gump
