John Owens and wife Nancy deeded this corner acre of their land to Clearfield as a burial ground in 1823. Among the veterans reting here are three Revolutionary War soldiers: Alexander Read 1826, Clearfield's First Postmaster; James Ardery 1814,
John Owens 1853.

Dedication May 26, 1986 by Community Volunteers

Additional Comments:
Owens Cemetery is located just east of the City of Clearfield, Clearfield County, PA
on Owens Road at the intersection of Fire Tower Road and Odell Street.
