In the name of God Amen. I Jonathan Gunel of Hempfield Township in the County of Westmoreland, Being of Sound disposing mind, Memory, and Understanding, Thanks be to Almighty God for the Same, Being mindful of my mortality do make and Constitute this my last will and Testament-First and principally I recomend my immortal Spirit to God who gave it in hopes of a joyful resurrection, and my body ? the earth) where it shall please God to Seperate my Soul and body to be buried decently, at the discretion of my executor- And as to such worldly Estate, Wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me, I give and dispose thereof as follows-Item. It is my will and I do bequeath unto my beloved wife Pamela Gunel all and every of my goods and chattles which are left at the time of my death After the payment of my Just Debts and funeral expenses during her natural lifetime or so long as she shall remain my widow. And if she should marry again after my deciese My will is that she have one good bed and the whole of the parlour & kitchen furniture which shall belong to her at the time of my deciese. Further it is my will that if my beloved with Pamela should marry or after her death, that my effects or the residue thereof not disposed of shall be equally divided between my children to wit Corben Gunel, Beverly Gunel, John Gunel and Kitty Gunel & I do nominate and appoint my beloved wife Pamela Gunel to be my Sole Executrix, of this my last Will and Testament I publish and declare this and none other to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the Twentieth day of July in the Year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty one-1831.
