"The Nomenclature of Wayne: A History of Wayne County, PA" by Thomas J. Ham,

Thanks to the generosity of Pike County Historian George Fluhr, the Wayne County Historical Society has printed a new edition of which has been out of print for several years. This is a compilation of a series of articles published in the Honesdale Citizen in 1905-1907. Not a comprehensive history like Mathews or Goodrich, but it covers a lot of ground.

This edition also includes an index formerly sold separately. The book is $15 in the WCHS shop plus $4.95 shipping and handling for mail orders (and 6% sales tax for PA residents).

"History of the Township of Mount Pleasant, Wayne County, Pennsylvania: A discourse delivered on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 1855," by Rev. Samuel Whaley

Now available in an indexed edition

The book is $14.50 from the WCHS shop (plus $4.95 shipping and handling for mail orders (and 6% sales tax for PA residents).
