This is to certify that on the first day of November
1846 before me A.H. Moon Esq. one of the Justices
of the Peace in and for the County of Wayne, Nelson
W. Baty of Cherry Township in the said county, and Jane
A. Chase were legally joined in marriage each of
them being of full age and declaring themselves free
respectively from prior engagements of other lawful impediments.
In witness where of as will they the said Nelson W. Baty
and Jane A. Chase (she assuming the name of
her said husband) as I the said Justice other the said
witnesses present have here unto subscribed our names
the day and year afore said.
