Preface

The attached material and photos are an update to Descendants Of Robert Pierce Phillips. My mother, Pauline ( Phillips) Parrish, is the youngest child of David Jackson Phillips and Cora Elizabeth (Rider) Phillips. My mother Pauline and father, Joseph Parrish, had five children. I am the second. We would be part of the fourth generation on the "Robert Pierce Phillips" page. Between my brother Kenneth and my sister Grace, there are three other children. Janet (me ), Raymond and Joseph.

This summary covers the children of David Jackson and Cora E. (Rider) Phillips. My Mother is number 7 on the that list of children (shown below). Below her is the information on her five children. Actually, the first child of David Jackson and Cora E. Phillips was also not included in the aforementioned history, but she appears at the head of the list below. Lillian Pearl Phillips was born in August 1892 and died after 1900. She was in the 1900 census but wasn't listed in the 1910 records. My mother remembers hearing her Mother talking about Lillian and saying she was pretty sick. She was buried at Franklin Bethel Cemetery ("Stone Heap") in Franklin Township, Lycoming County, PA. My mother said her grave was marked with a wooden marker over by the woods somewhere. That has been long gone, so the exact location is no longer known. However, her name will now be added to the transcribed listing on that site.
