Berlin Area Historical Society restores Glade One-Room School house

The BAHS has been given a one-room school house, originally located one Rte. 160 at Roxbury and Reels Corner in Stonycreek Township. The original building, dated from 1868, has been in use at the Glade Church and most recently the Unity United Church of Christ. The schoolhouse will be restored as a museum to showcase life in a one-room schoolhouse. Dontations of money and other schoolhouse memoriabilia are being accepted by the BAHS.
