Hi, I’m searching for the parents of four McDaniel brothers that moved from Pennsylvania to Grafton West Virginia area about 1790. They were William,David, Aaron, James and we think Samuel McDaniel. William was indentured in Philadelphia May 19, 1772 to William Haselton. He was a minor at the time and Sarah Costgrave, his mother, gave her permission to his indenture. We believe David was born in 1770 and Aaron ca. 1775. Samuel was born in 1762 and moved to Brown County, Ohio about 1780. I have a lot of information on the family after they got to West Virginia, but not a clue as to who their father was in PA. Any information or advise would be greatly appreciated. Mary Ann (Mollie) HUTSON b. 1855 m. Hiram/Harmon TWIGG. Sarah A. (Sadie) HUDSON b. 1851 m. his brother Albert TWIGG. Marriages were in Alleg. Co., MD. I believe these two women were sisters (irregardless of surname spelling). Both are PA born. Cannot get a death cert. for Mary Ann who died in WV. Sarah's death cert. lists Robert HUDSON as her father, mother's name not listed. Another document lists mother's maiden name as LOINAX. Any information on these families would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps someone out there can solve a mystery in regard to the wife of Nicholas Beal. He was born in PA in 1793, and ame to Somerset County prior to 1808. My question is the surname ofhis wife, Mary b. 1784- 1866 in White Oak, PA. One source says that her maiden name was Piersol; another states it is Hardin. Could anyone clarify for me?.
