I am searching for place of origin for George LEMKE. George and his sister Mary (Gasatruck) settled in Liverpool area of Perry Co. George is buried in a small cemetery in Foultz Valley. There was an Evangelical Lutheran Church once at the site. I think it was St. Peter's Church. It is believed that they came over to the USA in 1845 with Philadelphia as the port of entry. Thank You. Searching for any information on the descendents of Samuel MALEY/MEALY, b. 1755 Donegal, Ireland. Served in the 6th Battalion, Pa Troops, Revolutionary War. Married Margaret Harper 17 Nov 1777 in Hopewell, York Co. They lived in Tyrone Twp. Cumberland Co. (Perry Co.) from 1780 to 1800, then moved to West VA. I am interested in the families of two of their sons, Samuel b. 15 Nov 1778 & William b. 14 Aug 1780. My 3rd great grandfather, PETER MALEY, lived in Penn Twp. Perry Co. in 1850 and Boiling Springs, Cumberland Co. in 1837. Peter was born 21 Mar 1800. Is Peter a son of Samuel or William? All three of Peter's sons had sons named William. No Samuel's though. Willing to share any information I have.

My 4-Great-Grandfather was George ROBISON, born ca/ 1727 in Coleraine, Ulster. He came to the U.S. in the mid-1700's and settled in Tyrone Twp., near Roseburg, Perry Co. Pa. His wife is unknown, but she may have been Elizabeth. George died in Perry Co. ca. 1798. They had six children:
Thomas, b. 1764 d. 1852 m. 1) 13 Jan 1789 Agnes MCMILLAN, 2) Nancy ELLIOTT (3 children?)
Robert, b. 1767 d. 1834
Margaret d.1843? m. 7 Aug 1789 to Alexander SANDERSON
Nancy b. 1770 d. 1842
Mary m. 25 Jun 1793 to William ROBINSON (5 children?)
Elizabeth m. William SANDERSON
The above may not necessarily be correct in all details. The George of Robinson's Fort was apparently also born in 1727 d. 1814 so this date may be suspect for my George. My George is not Capt. George Robinson, nor the proprieter of George Robinson Fort. Any details on any of the above folks will be deeply appreciated. Thanks.

BATES, LENHART - Perry County
I am looking for information on my GGG grandfather, Henry Bates. According to the 1850 PA census he was born in CT but the 1860 has him born in PA. I received from the Perry County Historical Society, info that he married Mary Lenhart Mar 1833. At time of 1850 census his age is listed as 40 but in the 1860 it is given as 53. Mary's age in 1850 is listed as 31 but in 1860 as 37. I lost the letter from the Historical Society and would like to get in touch with them again for more info on them. Does anyone have any info on this family?

Would appreciate any available info on Emma's family, to include positive ID of her parents, their dates and places of birth, date and place of marriage, dates and places of death and burial. Also, Emma's father's occupation, any info on her grandparents, and names of her brothers/sisters. If local records can provide any information on Emma's husband, Richard J. PERRY Co. family named MOSES, in Tyrone Twp. Peter MOSES' confirmation appears in records of Lebanon Lutheran Church, Loysville. Was said to be first person buried at Old Union Log Church, same town, after 1812. He or a son had a daughter named Phoebe MOSES, who moved to Cumberland Co. where she married Jacob WETZEL.
