Hengist, of Brookfield, Ohio. The pulpit was occupied at various times by Revs. L. Krebs, N. Wolf, J. G Beetz, T. H. Hengist and H. Schmidt. The last named has been pastor for fifteen or sixteen years, and still occupies the position. The congregation was without a place of worship of its own until the year 1888. On the 5th of February, of said year, its frame house of worship, costing about $700, was dedicated with appropriate ceremonies. For a long time its services were held in the Christian Church.
