Pearl (Seyler) Hincy

18 August 1883 - 10 February 1960


Mrs. Pearl Seyler Hincy, 76, widow of Peter Hincy, Youngstown, died at 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 1960 in South Side Hospital, Youngstown.

A daughter of George and Isabell Seiple Seyler, she was born Aug. 18, 1883 in West Salem Township. Mr. and Mrs. Hincy were married May 5, 1912.

Mrs. Hincy had attended Dana School of Music and had been a piano teacher for many years. She taught in Greenville, commuting from Youngstown weekly. Last Friday she completed a full schedule of private lessons to students in Greenville.

Mrs. Hincy also was active in aviation circles for 30 years. In 1934 she purchased her own plane and operated a flying service at Watson Airport until 1943. She was an active member of the Youngstown Area Flying Club.
Surviving are nieces and nephews. A brother, Frank Seyler, preceded her in death.
