Mrs. Mary Josephine
Jones, wife of Joseph Jones, 406 Russell St., died at 10:30 p.m.
yesterday [5 July 1956] at home following a brief illness. She
was 77.
Mrs. Jones, was born in Niles, O., May 10, 1879, the
daughter of Owen and Mary Larken Riley. She had attended Niles
public schools and had lived in Sharon for 42 years.
Surviving
besides her husband, the three daughters, Miss Thelma Jones, Mrs.
Evelyn O'Connor and Mrs. James Fitzgerald, all of Sharon; two sons
Joseph Jones and Francis Jones, both of Sharon; 17 grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
