Norris
E. Burdette, died July 19,1972,in Albuquerque, New Mexico, while on
vacation. Mr. Burdette was 66 years of age. He was born July 2,1906,in
Worth Twp. to Lester and Susan Smith Burdette. He retired in 1971 after
42 years at Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Sharon. He was active in the
Stoneboro Presbyterian Church as an elder and other offices. He married
Mary Joyce Moors Sep. 14,1929 at Jackson Center. She died 10 Jan
1971,and he then married Joy McCormick, who survives him, in Dec 1971.
He
is survived by sons, Lester A., State College, Norris C., Apple Valley,
Minn., Alan M., Mount Vernon,Ohio,3 brothers, Clarence, Mercer, Oscar,
Stoneboro, David Herman, Stoneboro, and a sister, Villa Elford, Grove
City, and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
Burial will take place July 22,1972,at Oakhill Cemetery, Sandy Lake twp.
