Matilda
H. Vahey, Shaler Township, Allegheny County, died Thursday (5-11-00) in
the Vincentian- Regency Home, McCandless, Pa. She was 72.
Mrs.
Vahey was born Dec. 7, 1927, in Sharpsville to John and Helen Beno
Tranick. She was a registered nurse at Passavant Hospital, McCandless.
Surviving
are: her husband, Robert E. Vahey, Shaler Township; two daughters,
Helen Meyer, Latrobe, Pa.; and Teresa Dalton, Pittsburgh; two sons,
Peter Vahey, Erie; and Patrick Vahey, McKeesport.; Pa.; and five
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Vahey.
