| Mary
Joyce Burdette passed away Jan. 10,1971, at the Grove City Hospital,
after a 7 month battle with brain cancer. She was born June 6,1910,at
Oakstown, to Albert and Mary Hancock Moors. She graduated in 1927 from
Plaingrove High School, as class valedictorian. She is survived by her husband, Norris, whom she married Sep 14 1929,at Jackson Center,3 sons, Lester, State College, Norris, Apple Valley, Minn., and Alan, Mount Vernon,Ohio,3 sister, Mrs. Arthur (Betty) Lewis, Volant, Mrs. Elvin (Madge) Whited, Kittanning, and Mrs. Walter (Isobel) Anderson, Mercer, a brother, William of Leesburg. She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters and a brother. She will be buried Jan. 13,1971,at Oakhill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Twp. Source: Submitted by Norris Burdette, son |
