Malissa
Green Smith died May 7,1921,at the home of her daughter, Lottie
Swatzler, in Franklin, Venango Co. She was born April 7,1852,in
Kinsman, Ohio, to Henry and Eliza Jane Hover Green. She married Samuel
Smith on August 19 1870,at Franklin. She was preceded in death by her
parents, her husband, children Burton, Maude, Vernon, Clinton, and
unnamed infant, and brothers, William, Greenville, Levi, Ashtabula,
Oh., and David, Polk. She is survived by children, Jane Day, Worth
Twp., Minnie Pizer, Butler, John, Franklin, Nancy, Painesville, Oh.,
Susan Burdette, Jackson Center, Kate Flickner, Youngstown, Oh., Levi,
Erie, Lottie Swatzler, Franklin, Flora Hedglin, Stoneboro, and Harry,
Rocky Grove, Venango Co. She was buried at Center Church, Raymilton,
Venango Co.
