Frank
Booth, 78, widely known and most highly regarded former Sharon
resident, died at the home of his nephew, L. F. Booth, West Salem
Township at 9 P.M. yesterday of complications following an extended
illness.
Born near Clarksville, January 6, 1853, he came to
Sharon when young and had resided here for a long period. Five
years ago, he went to West Salem Township to reside with his
nephew. Mr. Booth formerly resided in First Avenue here and was
well known throughout this district. He was the son of the late
Harvey and Cordelia Bacon Booth.

Booth, preceded him in death about ten years ago. He was a member
of the Oakland Avenue M. E. Church. Surviving are a brother, W.
H. Booth, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Moore, both of West Salem Township.
Mr.
Booth's remains will be brought to the J. Smith Sharp Funeral Home,
East State Street tomorrow morning. Funeral services will be held
there, Thursday at 1:30 P.M. with Rev. W. A. Thornton, pastor of the
Oakland Avenue M. E. Church in charge. Burial will be in Oakwood
Cemetery. Friends are asked to please omit flowers.
