SPORTS, AMATEUR AND PROFESSIONAL
The Grove City College baseball team defeated the Meadville Iron and Oil League team at Meadville on Saturday.  The features of the game was the double play by Cline, Whitehill and Wordorf and the batting of J. Marshall, McElhoes, Whitehill and Radcliffe for Grove City, also the batting of Kerr, Fisher and Cross for Meadville.  The same teams play at Grove City on Wednesday May 4. 

Batteries for Grove City:  Marshall Bros, for Meadville, Morrisey, Burkshier and Morhis.  Struck out - by Marshall 10; by Morrisey 5; by Burkshier 3.

Grove City plays at Oil City today.
