Giles
Clark, Sr. was born October 5, 1746 in Middletown, Middlesex County,
Connecticut. He was the son of Francis Clark and Mary Lee.
On November 25, 1773, in Middletown, CT, he married Eliphal
Johnson. He died on April 4, 1822, in Hubbard, Trumbull County,
Ohio. Eliphal Johnson was born c.1749 and died on June 7, 1824,
aged 75 years. She is buried in the Old North Cemetery, Hubbard
Township, Trumbull County, OH.
Giles and Eliphal Johnson Clark had six children:
Giles
Clark, Jr., born June 28, 1789 in Connecticut. Giles, Jr. married
Elsey Turner and he died May 16, 1866, in Clark’s Mills, Mercer County,
PA. He’s buried in Perry Chapel cemetery, Perry Township, Mercer
County,
PA.
Dorothy Clark was born in 1789 in Connecticut and died March 1, 1794 and is buried in Exeter cemetery, Lebanon, CT.
Lemuel
Clark was born December 20, 1792 in Connecticut. On July 12, 1813
in Trumbull county, Ohio he married Elizabeth ??? (b. 1798; d.
1879). Lemuel died December 11, 1844 and is buried in
Sheakleyville cemetery, Sandy Creek Township, Mercer County, PA.
Ira
Clark, born April 14, 1794. Ira married Sarah Smith (b. 1796; d.
1888) February 20, 1816. Ira died January 17, 1884 and his burial
was in Center Cemetery, Brookfield, Trumbull County, OH.
Henry
Clark was born March 8, 1796 and married Eliza Ulp in Trumbull County,
Ohio, on November 1, 1824. Henry died August 8, 1862 and is
buried in Old North Cemetery, Hubbard Township, Trumbull County, OH.
Eliphal Clark was born March 19, 1807 in Trumbull County, Ohio.
