Clark, Jr., born June 28, 1789 in Connecticut. Giles, Jr. married
Elsey Turner and he died May 16, 1866, in Clark’s Mills, Mercer County,
PA. He’s buried in Perry Chapel cemetery, Perry Township, Mercer
County, PA. Elsey Turner was born September 18, 1787 and died
January 18, 1863, aged 75 years and 4 months and is buried in Perry
Chapel cemetery, Perry Township, Mercer County, PA. Elsey was the
daughter of Adam and Margaret Turner. (On the 1850 census of
Hickory township, Mercer county, PA Elsey was listed as being blind.)
Giles and Elsey Turner Clark had two children:
1) Lucinda Clark, born c1822, in Hubbard, Trumbull County, OH. On the 1850 census she was listed as unmarried.
2)
Lewis Clark was born December 18, 1827, and died January 23, 1872, aged
44 years, 11 months and 5 days. He was married to Phoebe C. (surname
unknown) sometime after 1850. He’s buried in Perry Chapel
cemetery, Perry Township, Mercer County, PA. (On the 1850 census
he’s listed as unmarried.)
