Father Dr. George Kirkpatrick, Mother Sarah DeWolf.  1st Wife Mary Wilson,  3 Children, George Wilson Kirkpatrick, Born, 1850; John, Born 1851; James, Born 1852, Died 1854 in North Liberty; Second Wife:  Ann Taylor, six children, Sarah,1856;Mary 1858;Annie 1859;Thomas 1862;Edward 1865; Charles 1867; Joseph 1869. Dr George Kirkpatrick appears in the early census in Butler and worked in both counties. He was born around 1789 and died in North Liberty around 1841.  His wife died in North Liberty on 11 Jun 1875.  Looking for more information on him and his wife.  Joseph his son was a farmer and an insurance salesman in North Liberty.  Sarah DeWolf was a school teacher.  Have photographs and or engravings of almost all. Dr George Kirkpatrick is my G.G.G.Great Grandfather. Have a listing of all the marriages from 1850 and the offspring until about 1980.
