Gehm, b. July 26, 1824, Bavaria, married, Anna Katherine Kolb in Mercer
Co., PA. on Dec 2, 1851, first two of their children were born in
Mercer Co. PA. They were Mary H. Gehm, b. June 23,1853 in Greenville,
Mercer Co. PA. and Barbara P. Gehm, b. August 20, 1856 in Greenville,
Mercer Co. PA. I know for sure that Anna came with her parents
and settled in the area in May of 1851. I am looking for
information about Adam Gehm, anyone connected to him for exchanging
what little I do know about my Gehm ancestor. |

he had a surviving brother, George W. of Elizabeth, PA, and James C. of
West Wheeling, OH. He married Harriet Small on September 30, 1885 and
after her death, married Elizabeth Siddon. |

appeared to have lived in Lackawannock Twp, Mercer County by
1800. One son, Francis McGarvey, (born May 1800 in Mercer County)
married in 1830 to Isabelle Gillaspie or Glaspie (b. 1800 in Ireland)
and had a family in Delaware Twp, Mercer Co. found in 1840 and 1850
census records.
Still hoping to learn the names of Francis and Rebecca's other children. Oliver Magarvey may be one. |
