My ancestor David Morgan married Sarah Jones in South Wales in 1864 and
had two sons born there, David and William John in 1866 and 1868 before
coming to America in 1868 and having three more sons in Sharon, Pa.
named Thomas, George and Charles. My Great Grandfather Thomas married a
Jenny Williams in Sharon and her father was Stephen Williams and mother
Sarah Evans both born in Wales.
David Morgan born in Glamorgan Wales in 1840 and died in Sharon, Pa. in
1891 leaving 5 sons, a wife and a brother William K. Morgan in Sharon.
His Wife later remarried a George Jones. There first son, David,
married and died in New Philadelphia, Ohio in 1917. The rest of the
sons all married and died in Sharon.
David Morgan's wife Sarah died in Sharon in 1909.Listed in the 1880
Census of Mercer County is David Morgan his 5 sons and wife along with
Mary J. Collins and Sariann Collins listed as both Nieces.
