James Uber was killed in action in the campaign of Argonne Forest and Gust Nyberg died at the Vancouver barracks.

JAMES LESTER UBER

JAMES LESTER UBER -Corporal James Lester Uber, of Hamilton Township, was born August 1, 1889, He enlisted in Company E Sixteenth Pennsylvania Infantry of the National Guard on July 14, 1917 at Kane Pennsylvania. He was drafted into Federal Service on August 5, 1917 and served in Company E, 112th Infantry. Uber trained at Camp Hancock, Georgia. He was killed in action on October 8, 1914, in the campaign of the Argonne Forest. He lies in France.
