BARR - TOY

Frank Barr and Margaret M. Toy were married Aug. 13, 1884 in Derrick City by Rev. D.W.C. Huntingdon, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church of Bradford.

McCOOL - MUSOLINO

Mr. and Mrs. John McCool of Sigel, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Geraldine (Jeannie) Isabella McCool, to Francis Mark Musolino, son of Mrs. Ernistine Musolino, of Bradford. Miss McCool is a graduate of Sigel High School and Mr. Musolino is a veteran of WWII. The wedding is set for August 13, 1946.

BARRY - PAPPALARDO

Mr. and Mrs. Frank T. Barry of 37 Jefferson St. have announced the engagement of thier daughter, Mary Dawn, to Joseph Pappalardo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pappalardo of Jamestown, NY. A 1957 graduate of St. Bernard School and Bryant and Stratton Business Institute of Buffalo and is emplyed here in the Corning lass Works office. Mr. Pappalardo is a 1956 alumnus of Jamestown High School and was graduated from Bryant and Stratton in 1958. He is employed by Swift d Co. in Jamestown.

WEBSTER - HILLARD

Mr. and Mrs. Asher Webster of Derrick City have announced the engagement of thier daughter, Shiela, to Guy Hillard Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hillard Sr. of Custer City. The bride-elect is an x-ray technician at Bradford Hospital. Mr. Hillard is employed by Kendall Refining Company and is attending St. Bonaventure University. The wedding will take place July 18 in St. Francis of Assasi Church.

ALLEN - WELSH

Thomas G. Allen, formerly of Bradford, was married June 6 in Baltimore, MD to a Miss Elaine Welsh, daughter os Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Welsh of Baltimore. Mr Allen is the son of Mrs. Mary m. Allen of Bradford, Harry B. Allen of Corpus Christi, Texas. The ceremony was performed in St. Antonasius Church by the Rev Chester J. Coyz. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bagrowski, Baltimore, were the couples attendan. Mr. Allen attended St. Bernard's School and graduated in 1951 from Roy Miller School in Corpus Christi. He served five years with the Army and since his discharge has been employed at National Security Corp. in Washington, D.C. The couple will reside in Baltimore.

DEASEY - HANCOCK

Miss Anne Deasey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Deasey of 57 Fairview Rd., was married last Saturday to James Clarence Hancock of 213 Hedghog Lane, in St. Francis of Assisi Church. The Rev. G. Carlton Ritchie, church pastor, performed the double ring ceremony. Mrs. Peggy Donovan, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor and James Deasey Jr., brother of the bride, was the best man. David Deasey, also brother of the bride was the usher. The bride is a graduate of Bradford Senior High School, class of 1955, and is employed by Corning Glassworks. The bridegroom attended BSHS and is now employed by Burdick Lumber Co.

FRALICH - HOILES

Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Fralich, Fullerton Road, have announced the engagement of thier daughter, Susan to Mr. William M. Hoiles, Washington D.C. Mr. Hoiles is the son of Mrs. Arthur J. Hoiles, Washington and the late Mr. Hoiles. Miss Fralich, a graduate of Penn Hall at Chambersburg, attended Mt. Union College, Alliance, OH, and the University of Miami, Miami, FL. She is a member of Delta, Delta, Delta. Mr Hoiles, a graduate of the Culver Military Academy, Culver IN., also attended Mt. Union. He is a graduate of the Warton School of the University of Pittsburgh of Pennsylvania and a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. A fall wedding is planned.

NICK - SWITZER

Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Nick od Cyclone have announced the engagement of thier daughter, Constance Anne, to Donald Lee Switzer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Switzer of Bradford RD3. Miss Nick is employed by the Dresser Manufacturing Division here and Mr. Switzer by Bovaird and Seyfang Manufacturing Co. The couple will be married in the fall.

KEATING - MATSON

Miss Carole Dean Keating of San Fransisco, CA., was married last Saturday at Carmel Mission, Carmel, CA., to Bruce H. Matson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Myron W. Matson of Bradford, and Key Biscapne, FL. A reception followed at Del Monte Lodge, Pebble Beach. The couple will make thier home in Carmel Valley, CA.

JONES - KNOWLTON

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Jones of 61 S. Kendall Ave., have announced the engagement of thier daughter, Barbara Alice, to Clifford W. Knowlton of 38 Niles Hollow. Miss Jones is employed here in the business office of the Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania and Mr. Knowlton in the mainteneance department of the Northeast Container Corp. The wedding will take place Sept. 19

KESSEL - SCACCHI

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kessel of Limestone, NY., have announced the engagement of thier daughte Barbara Lorraine, to Donald E. Scacchi, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Scacchi, also of Limestone. A graduate of Limestone high School, Miss Kessel is a labrotory assistant at St. Francis Hospital in Olean NY., and mr. Scacchi is serving in the Navy. The wedding is set for August 1

BENNETT - BAKER

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bennett of Gifford, have announced the engagement of thier daughter, Sandra Eileen, to Wayne W. Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Baker, also of Gifford. Miss Bennett is a graduate of Smethport High School and Mr. baker was graduated from Bradford Senior High School. Both are employed by the Speer Resistor Division of Speer Carbon Co. in Bradford. The wedding is set for Sept. 19

Bertha Tompkins and William Connor were united in marriage in Port Allegheny, PA September 8, 1920. This marriage was witnessed by Maynard Tompkins and Carman. Marriage decree signed by Mort Teter.
