First Families of Tuna Valley was organized in 1925 during Old Home Week in Bradford. Membership requirements descendants of families settled in the Tuna Valley before 1876. The organization held picnic and meeting into the mid 1940's. The date in the index is date of settlement and (dl) indicates descendants living in (1925). No doubt descendants of the First Families of Tuna still living in the Tuna Valley (1997). Data in the files runs from just name and date of settlement in the valley to several interesting pages of family data. The files are in the Bradford Landmark Society Collections.
