Will Book "I", p. 483

In the name of God Amen. I, William Husted of Dallas, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and testament as follows (That is to say) my desire is to be buried with as little expense as decency will permit. That all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.--

1st. I give and bequest all my lands, tenements and hereditaments whatsoever, situate and being in the township of Dallas, County of Luzerne and state of Pennsylvania, unto my sons Delbert and Lewis Husted each share and share alike, after the death of my wife.-

2nd. I give and bequeath to my daughter Lucinda Nulton wife of Jacob Nulton two hundred dollars, to her in one year after my decease without interest to be paid by Delbert and Lewis Husted.-

3rd. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Etta Husted, five hundred Dollars to be paid to her attaining the age of twenty one years, to be paid by Delbert and Lewis Husted without interest.-

4th. It is my desire that my beloved wife Amy be and remain on the farm during her natural life. That she receive her support from the proceeds of the farm with the same advantages and priveleges she now does, providing she remains my widow and does not remarry.-

5th. That my daughter Maryetta Husted remain on the farm and be maintained and supported from the proceeds of said farm until she attain the age of twenty one years, or shall marry, also that she receive Twenty five Dollars per year for wearing apparrel, to be paid from proceeds from said farm.-
Further that said Delbert and Lewis Husted to have the surplus money or profits of the farm after paying the necessary expenses of said farm and the provisions heretofore made, so long as my wife Amy remains my widow, my estate both real and personal not to be Separated until after the death of my wife.-

6th. Should any of the heirs to my estate herein mentioned cause any disturbance or litigation, or be interested in any way to destroy this my last will and testament then they to have one third the amount of what is provided for them herein. And I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my beloved wife Amy, Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former and other wills by me heretofore made, and declare this only to be my last will and testament.
