The Will of
REUBEN D. GRENAWALT



I, R. D. Grenawalt, of the Township of Hanover County of Luzerne, and State of Pennsylvania, do make this my last Will and Testament.

First:--I direct that all of my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid by my Executor herein after named.

Second:--If my wife Lydia A. Grenawalt survives me, then I give and bequeath to her, all of my household goods, furniture and effects, all Tools, Cows or cattle, and all chickens absolutely and forever. I further give and bequeath to her the full use and occupancy of my residence and premises, where I now live for and during her natural life. If I have any cash in Bank or otherwise left after the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses; Then I further give and bequeath to my said wife Lydia A. an annuity of One Hundred and fifty dollars in each year, which is to be paid to her in monthly sums of twelve & 50/100 Dollars on or about the tenth of each month by my Executors hereinafter named. This annuity is not to be a charge on any real estate I die seized of: When the cash is exhausted, and all used as herein directed then the said annuity is to cease and determine. These gifts and provisions made for my said wife are to be in lieu of all dower, and exemption and allowances to widow under the statues of the Commonwealth of Penna.

Third:--At the death of my said wife Lydia A., if she survives me, or at my death if I survive her, then I give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate real, personal and mixed to my two sons, John H. Grenawalt, and Harvey P. Grenawalt, share and share alike, and their heirs and assigns forever.

Lastly. I nominate and appoint my said wife Lydia A. Grenawalt and my son Harvey P. Grenawalt, or the survivor of them to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament .

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty seventh day of July 1914.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Testator, as and for his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names at his request as witnesses thereto, in the presence of the said Testator, and of each other.
