Will of

Charlotte Wesley

           

            Be it remembered, That I Charlotte Wesley of the Township of Ross, in the County of Luzerne and state of Pennsylvania, Widow, being weak in body, but of sound mind, memory and understanding, (praised be God for it,) Considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof, do therefore make and declare this my last will and testament, in manner following that is to say.

First, I direct all my just debts and funeral expenses to be fully paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently may be after my deceases.

            Item 1st I give and bequeath to my Son Daniel W. Wesley the sum of One hundred dollars.

Item 2nd I give and bequeath to my Son John B. Wesley the sum of One hundred dollars.

Item 3rd I give and bequeath to my Son James Edwin Wesley the sum of One hundred dollars.

Item 4th I give and bequeath to my Son Benjamin F. Wesley the sum of One hundred dollars.

Item 5th I give and bequeath to my son William H. Wesley the sum of One hundred dollars.

Item 6th I give and bequeath to my Grand Son Charles L. Ide the sum of One hundred dollars.

Item 7th I give and bequeath to my daughter Keziah A. Frantz the sum of One hundred dollars.

Item 8th I give and bequeath to my daughter Jean A. Littley the sum of One hundred dollars.

Item 9th I give and bequeath to my daughter Ellen M. Fuller the sum of One hundred dollars.

Item 10th I give and bequeath to my Son Joseph A. Wesley the sum of Two hundred dollars.

Item 11th I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary E. Wesley the sum of Four hundred dollars, in money and all my household goods, furniture, beds and beding all of whatever there may be in money when my notes are collected more then to pay the above named sums, debts and expenses, I desire that it be equally divided between all the legatees mentioned in this will.

And lastly I do nominate and appoint my esteemed friend Jonathan O. Ide of Lehman Pa. To be Executor of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I the said Charlotte Wesley have hereunto set my hand and seal this 25th day of December A.D. 1879.
