John Lewis Drendall, son of George & Kunigunda Drendall, German Immigrants (1880 census listed fathers pob Hungary, mothers Bavaria). He was born 5 Dec 1872, Mt. Top, Luzerne Co. and died 29 May 1950, Laurel Run Borough, 34 S. Dickerson St. He was retired from the Dupont Powder Co. He married 15 Dec 1902 Elsie Swartwood, dau of Samuel & Mary Alice (Carey) Swartwood. She born 27 April 1883, the tenth child out of the twenty five children born to her parents, she died 10 December 1960, Laurel Run Borough. John and Elsie (Swartwood) Drendall are both buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Shavertown, Luzerne Co., PA.
