Jan. 14 Arthur Heydt American Laborer 17 S 0 0 Scotch Valley Columbia Fatally injured. Fell into chute and was crushed by machinery. Outside.

Jan. 14 Mike Polack Slavonian Miner 52 M 1 2 Coleraine Carbon Fatally injured. Fell off platform and iron bar penetrated intestines.

Jan. 21 Stanley Rosock Russian Miner 33 M 1 2 Spring Mountain Luzerne Skull fractured by falling off pile of coal at face.

Feb. 16 Simon Sukovitch Russian Miner 36 M 1 8 Honey Brook No. 5 Schuylkill Fatally injured by fall of roof at face.

Feb. 22 John Prossic American Slatepicker 16 S 0 0 Spring Mountain Luzerne Fatally injured by runaway car under breaker while unloading car of coal. Outside.

Feb. 22 Walter Chickeroski Austrian Laborer 40 M 1 2 Spring Mountain Luzerne Fatally injured by runaway car under breaker while unloading car of coal. Outside.

Jun. 11 John Krutz American Miner's Laborer 19 S 0 0 Oneida Schuylkill Fatally injured by fall of roof near face. Died June 13.

Jun. 26 Frank Mulhearn American Machinist 38 S 0 0 Beaver Brook Luzerne Instantly killed by being caught in machinery in breaker. Outside.

Jul. 15 Michael Wasko Slavonian Miner 28 M 1 3 Beaver Meadow Carbon Fatally injured by fall of coal at pillar workings Died July 15.

Jul. 16 Charles Dulis Russian miner 50 M 1 1 Cranberry Luzerne Fatally injured by fall of roof at pillar work. Died July 20.

Jul. 30 Bartel Solenski Polish Miner 55 M 1 6 Cranberry Luzerne Fatally injured by fall of coal in gangway. Died the same day.

Aug. 08 Raymond Knelly American Laborer 17 S 0 0 Oneida Schuylkill Instantly killed. Struck by timber that rolled off car while taking out sprags. Outside.

Sep. 10 Frank Podpinis Lithuanian Miner 40 S 0 0 Honey Brook No. 5 Schuylkill Fatally injured by fall of coal near face.

Sep. 18 Nicholas Marine Italian Rockman 26 S 0 0 Beaver Brook Luzerne Killed by electricity when he came into contact with trolley wire on slope while placing dinner pail on pipe.

Oct. 04 Andrew Kowalchick Austrian Miner 27 M 1 3 Harwood Luzerne Fatally injured by fall of roof at bottom of slope. Died October 6.

Oct. 15 John Gbur Greek Miner 33 M 1 3 Cranberry Luzerne Skull fractured. Caught between car and prop in pillar workings.

Nov. 27 Victor Subastion American Miner's Laborer 54 M 1 0 Cranberry Luzerne Instantly killed. Caught between car and roof on gangway.

Dec. 02 Joseph Masino Italian Carpenter 48 M 1 6 Beaver Meadow Carbon Fatally injured by falling from scaffold when plank on which he was standing broke. Outside.

Dec. 07 John Kaizaski American Driver 19 S 0 0 Audenried No. 4 Schuylkill Instantly killed. Run over by cars on gangway.

Dec.09 Abram Turnbach American Electrician 40 M 1 4 Evans Carbon Killed by electricity when he came into contact with wires while making repairs at sub-station. Outside.

Dec. 14 John Sterlock Austrian Miner 45 M 1 8 Spring Mountain Luzerne Instantly killed by fall of coal near face.

Dec. 16 Frank Sucash Austrian Miner 36 M 1 5 Cranberry Luzerne Instantly killed by rush of coal from pillar while working on gangway.
