Hannah Martha Yoho, 95, of the Golden Hill Nursing Home died on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at her residence following a short illness. Born Jan. 22, 1915, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah Ellen Waters Grant. She was married for 57 years to the late Frank N. Yoho Sr., who passed away on Aug. 29, 1996.

Mrs. Yoho was a member of the Homewood United Methodist Church. She was also a charter member of the Big Beaver Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Frank N. and Beverly Yoho Jr. of Ellwood City; three grandchildren, Lisa Renee Yoho of Gibsonia, Kimberly Susan Yoho of Columbiana, Ohio, Frank David Yoho of Koppel; two sisters-in-law, Stella Grant Dean of New Castle and Adeline Morack of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, John L. Yoho who died on March 3, 2000. The last of her family, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and John Grant; and four sisters, Thelma Grant, Alice Chidister, Mary Langnecker and Betty Hall.

A private funeral service will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum, at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ellwood City Public Library.
