Mrs. Mattie William, aged 40, wife of Robert Williams, 8 Sankey street, died Monday at 1:15 p.m. after a long illness.

Mrs Williams was born at Clayton, Ala. and had been a resident of New Castle the past 14 years. She was a member of the Second Baptist church and took and active part in all branches of church work.

She is survived by her husband and six sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. from the Second Baptist church and interment will be made in Graceland cemetery.
