Marion H. Tinsley, 73, of 1130 S. Mill St., died Tuesday in the New Castle Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Blakesburg, Iowa, to Philip T. and Rose Lewis Tinsley on Jan. 20, 1889. A resident of New Castle for the past 36 years, he and his widow, the former Mabel L. Crowe, had been married 53 years. Survivors also include: son, Francis E. Tinsley; daughters, Helen (Mrs. William) Mansfield and Jean (Mrs. Bill) Campbell, all of New Castle; sisters, Kate Storm, Duluth, MN, Dolly Tinsley of Salem, OR; brothers, Herman Tinsley of Granata Hills, CA, Dean Tinsley of FL, Orvis Tinsley in Germany, George S. Tinsley in Omaha, NE; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Interment in Graceland Memorial Cemetery.
