Mrs. Mary E. (Molly) Welsh Preisel, 86, of Cottage Grove died Jan. 16, 1983 in Jameson Memorial Hospital after a short illness. A daughter of Thomas and Katherine Gardner Mills Welsh, she was born April 18, 1896, in New Castle. Her husband, Joseph F. Preisel, died on March 6, 1982. Survivors include sons: Joseph L. of Cleveland, OH, Patrick A., Charles L. and Plennie V., all of New Castle; daughters: Mrs. George (Leona) Horchler and Mrs. Alfred (Lillian) Fulkerson, both of New Castle and Mrs. Rosella M. Teach of Phoenix, AZ; 34 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren. A son, Thomas, also preceded her in death. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
