Lewis K Pickel, 72, of 607 Spruce St was dead on arrival at Jameson Memorial Hospital from a heart attack, Saturday at 6:20 p.m. Born in Indiana PA on March 19, 1899 the son of Homer C and Effie VanTine Pickel. Married Hazel A Martin who survives. Retired from Bossert Plant. Member of Epworth Methodist Church. Survived by a son, Lewis H of RD 6; a sister, Mrs Sara Crisan of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Alice and a sister, Mary. Services tomorrow at Cunningham's East Side Funeral Home, 454 Chestnut St, Rev Eugene Akeny officiating. Burial in Graceland Cemetery.
