Mrs. Geraldine Hetrick Pander, 84 of 1212 Huron Ave., died Dec. 1, 1982, in her residence after an extended illness.

She was born in New Castle on Jan. 1,1898, to Charles and Alice Hammond Hetrick. She was married to Edward E. Pander, who preceded her in death on July 15,1975. Mrs. Pander was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Letina A Reynolds and Margaret Pander, both of New Castle, Mrs. James (Katherine) Trupe of Youngstown, Mrs. James (Betty) Campbell of New Castle; a sister Mrs. Sarah Ayres of New Wilmington; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death was a son, Edward E. Jr., four brothers and a sister.

Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Tanner-Reynolds Mortuary, Inc., 1102 Highland Ave. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home by the Rev. John Blewitt of Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
